Leveda
Leveda provides opportunities to those in the community living with a disability. Compassionate employees and volunteers support accommodation, home care, respite and community housing services.
All have a strong empathy and vision to provide opportunities for clients to live their lives to the fullest potential with maximum control.
Leveda was formed in late 1988 by a group of parents whose sons and daughters were moving from a state operated nursing home, Ru Rua, to live in the community. The parents wanted to have more say in the services provided.
Over the past 20 years Leveda has grown, and now provides accommodation support to over 65 people in a range of community houses in the north and north east of Adelaide. Leveda also assist over 55 people via community support packages and a respite service.
An organisation strong on the values of choice and inclusion, Leveda work with a diverse range of people; all having complex support needs.
